Who we are not:
A group trying to recruit or change the minds of other people. We accept every person for who they are and what they believe. (This includes those of any socioethnic group, gender identity, sexual orientation and many, many others!)
Who we are:
A small group of mostly students (Undergrad and Grad) and some Alumni and faculty of USU. While we receive funding for our events from the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we direct ourselves in our own way in the USU community with help from our parent congregation, Prince of Peace Lutheran, in Logan.
What we do:
Sometimes we ask difficult questions about vocation or things going on in our lives, other times we help those in communities near and far, other times we just relax and enjoy fellowship with one another (this happens more often than the other two ;).
Regular Events:
Weekly "Food & Fellowship" on-campus:
LCM is beginning "Food & Fellowship" on March 25th! We will be gathering in Huntsman Hall (HH) room 382 from 5:30-6:30pm to enjoy each other's company, eat food, and relax. LCM will provide the food, but we need everyone to provide the fellowship! We'll continue at the same time and place on every Monday for the remainder of the spring 2019 semester, unless a majority of attendees request otherwise. All are welcome. Feel free to come/go as desired.
Monthly group dinners off-campus:
Discuss planning of events and any topics of joy or concern from the past month. Games are often involved too! Times and locations vary.
Annual Retreat:
Previously done over the extended President's day weekend holiday with the theme of listening for one's vocation.
